Companion setup
This path is for registered internal devices: register the iPhone, receive the signed install link, open it in Safari, trust the developer profile, and launch Companion.
You can copy the UDID from Finder on Mac, from iTunes on Windows, or by opening the helper profile in Safari on the iPhone and copying the displayed value into the form.
Companion ad-hoc install requires iOS 16 or newer. Open Settings > General > About and check iOS Version before registering.
Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode, turn it on, then reboot when iOS asks.
Submit your device name and UDID on this page. The server stores only a hash plus the last four characters, then calls Apple Developer device registration when configured.
When the signed build link arrives, open it in Safari on the registered iPhone. Tap Install, then enter your passcode if iOS asks.
Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Tap the 121 developer profile and choose Trust.
After trust is complete, the app icon appears on the home screen. Open Companion once and sign in or continue with the approved beta flow.
