Why 121

121 exists to make AI relationships portable, accountable, and less dependent on one vendor's memory or incentives.

Most AI products rent you a conversation inside someone else's container. 121 is built around a different bet: the useful thing is not a chat box. The useful thing is a relationship with memory, boundaries, export, provenance, and enough continuity to survive a new session or a changed provider.

That is why the product surface is split into Companion, Quill, Inkwell, Switchboard, Memory Authority, and the Transition Ledger. Each piece has a job. Companion is where Eleanor meets you. Quill carries the writing surface. Inkwell makes usage and billing legible. Switchboard keeps provider routing visible. Memory Authority gives users control. The Transition Ledger records meaningful state changes.

The point is not to sound bigger than the company is. The point is to make a small system that tells the truth about what it can do, what it cannot do yet, and what changed along the way.
